In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place - see Section 5 on international transfers.

9. YOUR RIGHT TO HUMAN REVIEW
Our platform uses an automated matching algorithm to identify clinical trials that may be relevant to your health profile. The algorithm compares the information you have provided (such as your health conditions, demographics, and location) against the eligibility criteria of available trials, and marks certain trials as potential matches.
You can browse all trials on the platform regardless of match status. The match indicator is a helpful suggestion, not a restriction. If a trial is not marked as a match but you believe it may be relevant to you, you can contact us at support@trialme.eu to request a manual review of your profile against that trial's criteria.
This automated matching process is designed to support your decision-making, not to replace it. It does not constitute an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
