These Terms of Service govern your use of TrialMe's platform and services. TrialMe connects women with relevant clinical trials through our matching platform but does not provide medical services, healthcare, or medical advice.

TrialMe is a matching platform only. We facilitate connections between participants and clinical trial sponsors (pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations). All clinical trial activities, medical oversight, and healthcare services are provided directly by the trial sponsors and their healthcare professionals, not by TrialMe.

1. GENERAL

1.1 TrialMe AB, Swedish company registration number 559536-1873 ("TrialMe", "we", "our" or "us") operates an online platform that connects women with relevant clinical trials based on their health profiles and preferences (the "Platform" or "Service").

1.2 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your ("you" or "your") use of the Platform, including our website at www.trialme.eu, our mobile application, and all related services.

1.3 By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.

1.4 These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. By accepting these Terms, you also accept our Privacy Policy.

2. ABOUT TRIALME AND THE SERVICE

What TrialMe Does

2.1 The Service enables you to:

• Complete a health and preference questionnaire

• Be matched with clinical trials that may be relevant to your health profile

• Access information about clinical trials

• Express interest in participating in clinical trials

• Access educational content about clinical research

2.2 The matching is based on information you provide in your profile and the eligibility criteria set by clinical trial sponsors. You are fully responsible for providing accurate and honest information.

What TrialMe Does NOT Do

2.3 TrialMe does NOT:

• Provide medical services, healthcare, or medical advice

• Conduct clinical trials or medical research

• Make decisions about your eligibility for trials

• Guarantee that you will be accepted into any trial

• Provide emergency medical services

• Replace consultations with qualified healthcare professionals

2.4 TrialMe acts solely as an intermediary. All clinical trial activities, screening, medical oversight, and healthcare services are provided directly by the trial sponsors (pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations) and their qualified healthcare professionals.

2.5 Trial sponsors have full responsibility for:

• Determining eligibility criteria for trials

• Screening and selecting participants

• Conducting the clinical trial

• Providing medical oversight and care

• Ensuring participant safety

• Compensating participants (if applicable)

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

2.6 The Service is free for participants. TrialMe is compensated by trial sponsors for successful participant recruitment.

2.7 TrialMe makes no guarantees about: (a) the accuracy or completeness of trial sponsor information; (b) whether you will match with any trials; (c) whether you will be selected to participate in any trial; (d) trial outcomes or benefits; or (e) the quality of care provided by trial sponsors.

3. USE REQUIREMENTS AND USER CONDUCT

3.1 You may only use the Service if you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3.2 The Service is not an emergency service.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 112 immediately or contact your healthcare provider.

3.3 You agree to:

• Provide accurate, honest, and up-to-date information

• Use the Service only for its intended purpose

• Keep your account credentials confidential

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3.4 You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

• Provide false or misleading information

• Access another user's account

• Attempt to interfere with the Service's operation

• Upload viruses or malicious code

• Scrape or automatically collect data from the Service

• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our consent

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

4.1 All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, design, trademarks, and content, belong to TrialMe or our licensors.

4.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

4.3 By using the Service, you grant TrialMe the right to use your data (in anonymized form) for research, service improvement, and product development purposes.

5. PERSONAL DATA

5.1 TrialMe is the data controller for your personal data. Our processing of your personal data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

5.2 By using the Service, you consent to sharing your profile information with trial sponsors for matching purposes. This may include sensitive health data.

5.3 When you express interest in a trial, relevant trial sponsors will have access to your profile information to assess your eligibility.

6. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS

6.1 NO MEDICAL ADVICE: The Service provides information about clinical trials but does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

6.2 NO GUARANTEES: TrialMe does not guarantee that: (a) you will be matched with trials; (b) you will be accepted into any trial; (c) trials will be available; or (d) trial information is error-free.

6.3 SERVICE PROVIDED 'AS IS': To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

6.4 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, TrialMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service.

6.5 TrialMe is not responsible for the actions, conduct, safety protocols, or medical care provided by trial sponsors or their healthcare professionals.

7. TERM AND TERMINATION

7.1 These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service.

7.2 You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7.3 We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

7.4 Termination does not affect any relationships or agreements between you and trial sponsors.

8. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND TERMS

8.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

8.2 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

9. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

9.1 These Terms are governed by Swedish law.

9.2 Any disputes shall be resolved by Swedish courts, with Gothenburg as the first instance venue.

9.3 For consumer disputes, you may contact the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) or the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
